Question about cal and general accounts
Hello, I plan to buy Exchange 2010 (in this moment I'm trying the evaluation version). Our situation is very particular: we are 24
employees but our email addresses are 50. This occurs because we have a lot of "general" email addresses, such as info@company.com, secretariat@company.com, ecc. These general accounts are accessed by more than 1 person.
Obviously when we are talking about Windows Cal, I need to buy 24 units. When we are talking about exchange cal, do I need to buy 50 units or 24? In other word, I need 1 cal for each email address or 1 cal for each user that logs into exchange?
And... what about public folder email addresses? As far as I understood, I don't need a cal for them, isn't it?
Thanks

This should not be used for determining licensing. Its notoriously incorrect.

You should really ask your licensing rep these questions. Much of that depends on how you are licensed - device versus user.
I need user cal. My MS reseller's answer has benn "don't know"
