I have seen a good article on CAS load balancing with Windows NLB. That is pretty straight forward and gives high availability for enterprises. Now my question is, what all can be load balanced in CAS? OWA Outlook Anywhere AnctiveSync But not... Auto discovery Am I wrong in understanding this? Because, I understood that outlook fetches the CAS server names from active directory when we try to do a automatic email configuration and my active directory is not aware of this windows NLB(or third party) implementation for CAS; so active directory simply returns the name of CAS server which is local to site. Hi,Here are my inputs on Auto Discover load balancing.If you are connecting from within the network it finds the autodiscover uri through the SCP registered. I think, You can register any virtual name (look for cert feasibility)pointing to load balancer IP address (for e.g. autodiscover.contoso.com or webmail.contoso.com)as autodiscover SCP.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124251.aspxIf you are connecting from from internet, autodiscover connects at a specific URLs (https://<smtp-address-domain>/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml or https://autodiscover.<smtp-address-domain>/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml). Redirecting HTTPS traffic coming to these URLs to load balancer IP address should load balance the autodiscover traffic.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997633.aspx-V
