We are looking at upgrading to Exchange 2007. We are currently Exchange 2003 Enterprise, with 15 servers across the state, with 6 of those in one building, and 2 of those, Front End Servers...So, we will need to keep the remote sites their own server, but wonder if we can use Exchange 2007 Standard, for remote sites, and Exchange 2007 Enterprise at the datacenter. We are told we can have both Standard and Enterprise in same organization. We are now told that Public folder replication is not possible between any Standard Server... Is that true??? Also, we are running windows mobile for about 160 folks, adn have about 190 folks using Communications Server for IM. Will we need the Enterprise CAL to run those??? Any suggestions would be great... There isn't any limitation on Exchange 2007 Standard edition with Public Folders or OCS Server. You can use PF replication between Standard Editions.
