Hi Running Exchange 2007 server. Last week, one of our users managed to lose most of his emails. Not sure what happened, they're not in Deleted Items/Dumpster etc, he may have copied them elsewhere. Anyway, I've created an RSG and restored his database from the night before his most of his items. So now I am in a position where his old mailbox, with all the items, is on the RSG database. And his current mailbox, which is missing stuff, is on the live store. What I need to do is somehow merge the restored mailbox into the current one, yet at the same time make sure that he doesn't end up with any duplicates. Is this possible? I can't see a way to merge contents from an RSG mailbox to a live one.

Are you saying that you already restored its from the RSG into a different recovery mailbox and now want to move items from that recovery mailbox into the users actual mailbox or? Troy Werelius www.Lucid8.com
