While trying to connect Exchange 2003 to Lotus Domino Server, several things got screwed up, so I worked backwords trying to fix the issues and finally it let to uninstalling exchange 2003. Now when I try to re-install it as the first Exchange server, (It's the only one we're going to have), I get a message when I try to install it telling me my addmin account of which I installed it the first time, must have the Schema, Domain Admin, Local Admin, which it does, nothing has changed with that account. Any Ideas how to get past that and re-install exchange? Here is the full message I get. The component "Microsoft Exchange Messaging and Colaboration Services" cannot be assigned the action "Install" becasue: - To install the first Exchange Server in a Domain or to run "/ForestPrep" mode: you must be an Exchange Full Administrator at the organization Level. You mustuse an account thathas been granted theFull Exchange Administrator Role on the Exchange organization usingthe Exchange Administrative Delgation Wizzard. This morning I was geting that my Administration account didn't have domain, Schema, or any of the required rights. Least that part is gone, I guess.
