We are still using good old ntfs and 64k size, which is recomended for Database and log disk for Exchange.

Hi,

ReFS is a newly engineered file system for Windows Server 2012 that is built on the foundations of NTFS.  ReFS maintains high degree of compatibility with NTFS while providing enhanced data verification and auto-correction techniques as well as an integrated end-to-end resiliency to corruptions especially when used in conjunction with the storage spaces feature.

For more details, you can look at the following two articles.

Best regards,

Hi Marc,

both Log and database should be formattet in 64K. It has been best practise to seperate Log and database on different disk. Reason for this is for best performance and time saving during restore.
