Read/Unread Emails on Mobile and Desktop

Hello,

I am trying to set up my account on exchange online, I have purchased Plan 1.
How do I set it up so that when I receive a message and open it on my desktop, it shows as read on my BB device, and vice-versa?

I  used to have an exchange account that linked my BB and desktop so that I could open a email on either one, and the message would be seen as read on another. It gets too confusing having the same email shown as unread.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

I am having the same problem, and I have a Z10 BB. The emails do not seem to appear as read if they are already opened. Sorry, someone else will have to help you out.

Hi,

Firstly, Id like to explain, you are not alone:

And I guess its a synchronization issue. We can check the email status through OWA: if the email keeps read status, mobile device cannot sync with mailbox and we can refer to the following article to troubleshooting:

Additionally, according to your description, your account will be on Exchange online. I recommend you ask for more professional help on our Exchange online forum:
