I have to rebuild a windows 2003 server. The server is primarily used for exchange server. I want to know the best way to extract the mailboxes and other exchange data so that when I rebuild the server I can import that data.Is there a good guide for this? Any help would be appreciated.

Brian, For a good answer, you will have to give some more details on your situation. For example: What other roles does this server have? (Is it also a Domain Controller (DC)) Do you have a full backup of the server? When you say 'rebuild', do you mean a clean reinstall? If you intend to reinstall,do you have any hardware for the 'new' Exchange Server available? How many mailboxes does this server host and approxemently how bigis the store(s)? Is this the only Exchange server in your organization? etc. etc.
