Recipent Policy based on AD domain membership
I have an Active Directory forest with three sub domains. We’ll call them nwtraders.com, pacific.nwtraders.com, atlantic.nwtraders.com and international.nwtraders.com. I need to create recipient policy that filters on an Active Directory domain to apply to the groups only in that domain. Recipient policy based on exchange attributes is easy but groups are AD objects. I have administrators creating groups and forgetting to update the address. How do I create a recipient policy filter to apply only to groups in specific domain?

Hi Scott, You did not mentioned your Exchange version but if you have Exchange 2003 so this will help you. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325921/en-us And if you got Exchange 2007 than maybe this could help you. http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/11/16/431531.aspx Regards. The question is about a recipent policy for groups in a domain. Recipent policy does not allow OU or domain membership in the filter so I feel this question may never get an answer but I do hope for the best.
