You can perform the recovery operation by two ways: -

--> One is using the manual method

--> Second is using the third party tool

Manual Method

• In manual method if you have soft deleted the mails, then you can easily recover them from Deleted folder items
• But if you deleted the emails with shift Key (Hard Delete) Then you can only perform the recovery within the retention period.

Third party application: -

Lot of third party applications are available in the market with which you can easily perform the recovery operation

Joe Prior is very well explained the methods to recover deleted items from MS Outlook.

But I want to add one more thing that You can recover few deleted items, like messages, contacts, tasks, appointments and notes, even after emptied Deleted Items folder or hard deleted using command Shift+Delete. The feature is available for Microsoft Exchange Server users and does not work for POP3 or IMAP accounts.

Click Folder > Recover Deleted Items.

Click the particular message that you want to recover (to select multiple email, press control and then select emails) >> Click Recover Selected Items

Recovered items will be restored within a few seconds.

Note: This method will work within the retention period specified by the Exchange administrator Once the retention time passes, deleted items cant be restored and you require a 3rd party tool such as QuickData Exchange EDB Recovery for the same task.

You may follow the steps given below to recover deleted items in Outlook :

Click Folder > Recover Deleted Items
Click the message you want to recover, and then click Recover Selected Items    
If you want to select multiple items, press Ctrl as you click each item, and then click Recover Selected Items
Recovered items are restored to the folder youre working in.
Your Exchange administrator specifies the retention time for deleted items. After this time elapses, deleted items cannot be restored.
