Recovering lost notes in exchange 2003
Hi all, I have a user who had a bunch of notes in his outlook email. Long story short, his profile needed to be deleted and re-added. I was wondering if there was a way to recover the notes only. I cant seem to find any resources regarding the matter online. Thank you all in advance

Well there is no option within outlook to recover the notes.

Hello,
If deleted notes are under retention period, which is by default 7 days in Exchange 2003 then you can recover it from the dumpster.
To enable the registry DumpsterAlwaysOn is available in the KB article mentioned by Harpreet or you can refer below article for the same.

If it is out of retention period then you need to recover it from the backup by restoring it to Recovery Storage Group and ExMerge the data to PST/Mailbox.
