Recreate User Mailbox
Hi all.... we have Exchange 2007 SP1 and have a user that seems to be having funny issues with calendering. I would like to recreate his mailbox and would like to know what is the proper process to do this, to ensure that the user has no data loss (how to ensure that all exisiting mail content, calendars ect is in the new mailbox), and there are no possible stumbling blocks. your help would be much appreciated.Stephane Favre

Of course this depends upon when the mailboxes was deleted and what mailbox retention policy you have. See Reconnection mailbox and select matching user Managing mailboxes in Exchange Server 2007 (Part 2) http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Managing-mailboxes-Exchange-Server-2007-Part2.html Deleting and reconnecting Exchange Server 2007 mailboxes http://searchexchange.techtarget.com/tutorial/Deleting-and-reconnecting-Exchange-Server-2007-mailboxesMCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M

Hi, How about moving the mailbox to another mailbox database without deleting it? If that doesn't fix the issue, you can continue to recreate the mailbox. To recreate the mailbox, you can refer to the Jon's suggestions. AllenAllen Song
