Regarding HTC Sync issue with outlook2010
Hi,
One of my customer is using HTC Desire to sync his mails from outlook2010 on his PC. When he reads or deletes any mail in outlook2010 on his desktop, some mails are imeediately getting synched to the mobile phone, but few are not synching at all for many
days. He dosent have problem with calender synching. He has got problem only with the mails.
Troubleshoot done:
1. Deleted and created exchange account on his phone.
2. Reconfigured his outlook profile on phone.
3. Removed all the devices attached to active sync from server end and reconfigured the profile again on his phone.
4. Changed his phone thrice, changed the SIM card as well, NO RESULT.
5. Re enabled his active sync features, moved his mailbox. NO RESULT.
Kindly let me know if any body has faced same issue and also the troubleshooting steps taken.
Another question?
Is there something we can do from exchange server for this?
If Mailbox recreation will help resolve this issue?
Is the problem with the HTC phone or the his Exchange active sync attributes?
Regards,
Madhavi.

Have you checked if you are on the latest version of the OS on the HTC? It's likley the handset, I've encountered these issues where it would stop synching then sync again with certain devices on certain android versions and they were due to known documented
bugs within the device itself. What is the HTC version?James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

@James,
We tried the instructions in the link, but it didnt help.
We also tried by asking him to try from another machine and try updating mails and check it in HTC, same issue again.
Will recreating his mailbox help in this issue.
