Iwastrying to configure exchange 2007 OWAwhen Icame across some issues withOWAvirtual directories. I tried to recreate the OWA virtual directories but the problem persists. Anyway I found and tried to implement the following KB: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=320202 Unfortunately, after I removed the "Client Access" server role, Exchange refused to reinstall it. Also after checking the setup logs I found the following errors logged: MSI (s) (40:E0) [09:56:29:282]: Product: Microsoft Exchange Server -- The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2920. The arguments are: Microsoft.Exchange.Services.web.config, , DEBUG: Error 2920: Source directory not specified for file Microsoft.Exchange.Services.web.config. ------------------------------------------------- Any Ideas??!!

Hi, First please check if web.config, web.config.bak in ...\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\Owa. If yes, then please backup these file and then remove them from the folder. After that, please run EXBPA to see if any error log there. Besides, please check event log and post the detail error event information here. Thanks for your reply, I did remove the web.config, web.config.bakfrom the directory "...\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\Owa" and I ran EXBPA tool. the following error was found and it was corrected by modifyingthe required attributes using the ADSI Edittool. - Recipient Update Service Did Not Process All Changes.
