Remote Administration of Exchange 2007
Since WMI has been removed from Exchange 2007 I'm assuming that our only bet on remote administration is through Windows PowerShell with the Exchange Management Shell (Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.Admin snap-in). Is the EMSonly available if you download the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Management Tools http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=6be38633-7248-4532-929b-76e9c677e802&displaylang=en ? That download is 700 megs! Is there anyway to just install Microsoft PowerShell and the Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.Admin snap-in locally and have the Management Tools only installed server-side? If this is not possible, is there any other way to remotely administer Exchange 2007? TIA, lushdog

My apologies, I did not realize that we required the ESM for Exchange 200/2003 even when using only WMI. Have a nice day!
