Remotely Administer a User's Outbox
We recently had to call MSFT Exchange support for an issue (case is actually still open) because our Exchange 2010 server was/is running out of space on the log file drive within hours. Log files are being created at a rate of almost 100+ every few minutes.
MSFT support said that while there are a few causes for this issue, one issue are messages stuck in user's Outboxes that try to send over and over. The problem is - if you have the user open up his Outlook, you don't actually see any stuck messages. The
only way we have been able to see the messages is to open up OWA in Light Mode and then access the Outbox that way.
My question is - there has to be a way to delete these messages remotely by an Exchange admin right? Is there a Powershell command that could accomplish this?
Thank you in advance.

Complete your issue with Microsoft Support and ask them! And while you're at it, push them to give you a fix, becasue that's definitely a bug, in my opinion.
There is no Exchange cmdlet I'm aware of that will do that, sorry.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi Robert,
You can try to use MFCMAPI to delete the items in Outbox:
