I'm encountering the "orphan" mailbox with the red x when I migrate from one store to another. Exchange 2003 mailbox move works fine otherwise. I see Microsoft has a hotfix available but I prefer not to apply it at this time. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Or, if it really bothers you, move themailbox back to the original location. The move will abort, statingthat the database already contains a mailbox by that name. It willalso deletes the mailbox from the target mailbox database.
