If all else fails, you could remove via adsiedit.msc. Be careful though not to delete the wrong thing.

Hi Hazem, If possible, please restart Exchange server to delete the RSG again. You can also try to use ESM to delete the RSG, please see: How to Remove a Recovery Storage Group http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125197(EXCHG.80).aspx Frank Wang TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. I will consider AndyD_ suggestion below the steps : Install Windows Support tools. run adsiedit.msc from start>Run expand the configuration partition expand cn=configuration, dc=.,dc=. services>>Microsoft Exchange>> your org name>> administrative groups>> admin group name>> servers>> information store>> recovery storage group right click on recovery storage group and select delete.Dinesh S.
