Remove active directory user from the GAL
I am running exchange 2007 and noticed our admin accounts are showing up in the GAL. How do I keep those accounts from showing up in the GAL. There are no mailboxes setup for these accountsto check the "Hide from GAL" feature.

They arent mailbox-enabled? If you click on their properties in the GAL, does anything come up? can you send mail to them?

I guess there may be some replication issues between your exchange and DC's. If the user donot have MBX in that case he should not appear in GAL. I would ask you to download latest OAB in outlook or check the same from removing Outlook from cached mode.
Start outlook click on Tools ->click on send/receive ->click on Download Address Book then uncheck the button "download changes since last send/recieve" click on Ok

Hi,
I agree with Andy and Vinod that we need to check the user by using OWA or Outlook (Online Mode) in order to bypass Offline Address Book issue.
If the user still can be located, please dump the user attribute and post result here.
