Now I trying to remove the exchange server at all to re-install it again and receive and error message:Setup previously failed while performing the action "BuildtoBuildUpgrade". You cannot resume setup by performing the action "Uninstall". Exchange server septup encountered an error. How I perform this procedure manually, and how I re-install the exchange server 2007.Samuel Martinez

I recommend reimaging the computer or wiping the hard disk and reinstalling Windows.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

I was trying to avoid that option, cause the server configuration is kind complicated.Samuel Martinez

Unfortunately, there is no supported method of removing Exchange except through setup.com /mode:uninstall. If you can't get that to run, you're pretty much on your own. Note that even if you flatten and rebuild the server, the Exchange server may still exist in Active Directory. In that case, you may need to install with the /RecoverServer switch to get it back to where it was. Also note that when you install Exchange from scratch, install Exchange 2007 SP3. Also, you can copy the latest rollup hotfix into the \UPDATES folder where you copy the installation source files and apply the rollup hotfix at installation time so you don't have to install it separately.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."
