Removeing the last 2003 Exchange Server
When I disconnect the last Exchange 2003 server frommy network and have only a new Exchange 2007 server online, everything appears to work except the outlook clients receive an error when seding/receiving that says the "Microsoft Exchange Server reported error (0x8004010F): The operation failed. An object could not be found." I looked up the error and it appears to be related to the OAB. I moved the offline address book generation from the old 2003 server to the new 2007 server but continue to get the error. When I connect in the old 2003 server the error goes away and everything appears to be good. How do I fix this error so I can completly remove the 2003 Exchange server?
Thanks

you have to replicate all public folders from the old server to the new on, that incl. the system folders (Free/Busy, OAB etc)

Issue description: Client got error about OAB when they send and receive if last exchange 2003 being removed after migration
Microsoft Exchange Server reported error (0x8004010F): The operation failed. An object could not be found
Troubleshooting:
1. Hows the Move OAB task as in the article which Lasse provided?
2. Please check the OAB based on KB 905813
3. Make sure that Offline address lists distinguishedName attribute match with the msExchUseOAB attribute of mailbox store
a. Launch ADSIEditor
b. Configuration Container->CN=Configuration, DC= Domain_Name ,DC=com->CN=Services ->CN=Microsoft Exchange->CN= Your_Organization_Name->CN=Address Lists Container->CN= Offline address list, right-click your OAB in the right-pane, Properties, check the value of distinguishedName attribute
c. Configuration Container->CN=Configuration, DC= Domain_Name ,DC=com->CN=Services ->CN=Microsoft Exchange->CN= Your_Organization_Name->CN=Administrative Groups ->CN= Your_Administrative_Group_Name->CN=Servers->CN=Server_Name->CN=InformationStore->CN=StorageGroup_Name, right-click mailbox store in the right-pane, Properties, check the value of msExchUseOAB attribute
4. Which version of the outlook encountered this symptom, outlook 2003, outlook 2007 or both? Check if Distribution is set properly
a. Launch EMC
b. Organization Configuration->Mailbox->Offline Address Book tab->right-click your OAB and click Properties-> Distribution
c. If theres both version of client in your org, please check the option for outlook 2003 in the Client Support field, and Enable Web-based Distribution, Enable public folder distribution
5. Get a issued user, perform a full OAB download for him (her) to test the OAB function
a. Please try to perform a full download for OAB
b. After full download has completed, an event 27 will be logged on the application log of client no matter its successful or not. We can analyze the event based on this article, or you can post the event content here
6. A very detailed OAB troubleshooting for this error on this thread, please review it

Mine is not resolved. I don't want to remove the Exchange 2007 yet, I just want to be able to download the OAB from Exchagne 2010.I have checked as above in ADSIEdit and the distinguised name looks OK CN=Smalldom 2010 OAB,CN=Offline Address Lists,CN=Address Lists Container,CN=SmallOrg,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=smalldom,DC=priHowever I have two administrative groups which I don't really want as this is a single server test environment.And of course as this is Exchange 2010 there are no storage groups.I have tried a full download. It does not work in OA.
