Removing a Mailbox Server From Exchange 2007
In a test Exchange 2007 environment, I setup a clustered mailbox setup for CCR. I decided to reimage the nodes without uninstalling the mailbox role from the servers. Now the Mailbox server still shows up in the Management console (under Server Configuration). I deleted the CMS object in AD, the SystemMailbox underMicrosoft Exchange System Objects in AD and the DNS entry, but I can't get rid of this server entry. Can anyone help me get rid of this entry?
