Replace TMG FBA page with Exchange 2013 forms

Greetings all,

I found this blog entry from the Exchange team about publishing Exchange 2013 through TMG.

http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2012/11/21/publishing-exchange-server-2013-using-tmg.aspx

One thing I'd like to do now is change the TMG FBA screen to showthe same form as Exchange 2013 shows. Does anyone know whats involved in doing this? can I just "copy" a directory from the Exchange server to TMG with the required forms?

Hello,

Based on my knowledge, there should be not to realize it.

When you publish exchange 2013 owa with TMG, because exchange 2010 OWA Forms Based logon page is different from Exchange 2013 OWA, you must modify the logoff parameter for properties of the OWA publishing rule.

If you can't modify the logoff parameter, the default TMG sets wont work.

Sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to say.

I realise the 2010 and 2013 FBA pages are different, and I have already modified the logoff parameter. All that part is working fine.

What I want to do is change the appearence of the *login* form on TMG to look like the new Exchange 2013 FBA one.

I've seen guides around that talk about customising the TMG FBA, but they seem to be mostly just changing colours or adding an extra logo. I'm asking how do you replace it completely, and can it be done such as copying a difrectory from Exhcange to TMG that has all the webpage details (or some other method)

Hello,

Sorry for misunderstaning.

Maybe you can define custom HTML forums on a per publishing rules basic. Check out the Application Settings tab of the publishing rule, and assign a unique custom folder for each publishing rule.

Setting the form on the Listener was what I had planned already, but I was kind of hoping for a more specific "dummies" guide to someone doing it to bring the Exchange 2013 "look and feel" across to TMG FBA.

I guess I'll see if I can use the links you provided to work something out.

That page just shows how to change the images and colour etc which is a simple enough place to start, but it doesn't really help what I was looking to do.

In the end I found one that works for Exchange and adapted it slightly to work with TMG.

Scott - IP1,
I have read your blog post and Scott Glew's blog post (and look at his customized package) but neither site really explains how to get the TMG FBA page to look like the Exchange 2013 FBA page.

Can you please post a more detailed description or update your blog post to explain how you did this?

Thanks in advance,
Will Smothers

I wasn't able to get the logon page to be exactly the same, it might be possible if you want to play with the html/css code. Besides which, the OWA page has changed again with recent exchange service packs to an even simpler page.

I wasn't particularly worried though as the solution above gave me what I wanted which was a mobile/table/touch friendly logon page for OWA instead of the very desktop/keyboard/mouse default that FBA normally presents.
