Replacing Public Folder Meeting Calendar
We are running Exchange 2010, Office 2010
Are there any alternatives out there to replace our PF Meeting Calendar? We also have shared contacts in our PF DB. Looking for a solution - ideally not SharePoint. Can I create a resource mailbox for the calendar? And if so, how can I push it out to
my users.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott

You can create a resource mailbox or a shared mailbox. Maybe create a shared, then give users full mailbox permission the mbx, which will then get automatically mapped when they logon to OLK. This only works when you give users direct access
and not via a SG.Sukh

Hi Scott,
I think shared mailbox is one good workaround. you can create the shared mailbox, and grant user permisssions to shared mailbox's calendar.
Then users can add shared mailbox's calendar in their Outlook, and change on the shared calendar.
