Replicating Exchange 2007 over 2 Primary Site
Hi ppl, just want to find out if there is any possibilities of replicating 2 primary exchange 2007 site with one another? Is it using SCR? As far as we want each primary site to hold each's database updates.

Yes, SCR replicate the storage groups so you can map each storage group to any Exchange server of remote site. I would recommend toseparateserver for holding cold dopy of SCR at the site but it requires additional Exchange server license so in that case you can use current one but make sure that you have proper resource toaccommodateSCR copy (like 30-40% of more processor, additional hard disk space equal to database size etc...) Hi Amit,Thanks for your professional reply. I have another stupid question (trying to prod more ; excuse me)). If i set up LCR for each server, and save the logs of each server into one another. Can I bring up the LCR mail database of server 1 in server 2?

Well, with LCR you can replicate the database in another partition of same computer but for replicating to another server, you need to use SCR. About question on mounting database on another server, yes, you can mount the mailbox database of any Exchange 2007 server to another Exchange 2007 server in the same organization with databaseportabilityfeature...
