Request delivery confirmation problem in Exch2003
Hi people, I configured one mailbox (MailA) to forward incoming mails to another mailbox (BossMail). The delivery works fine but, when another internal users sends a mail to MailA requesting delivery confirmation , the internal user recieves two notifications, one from MailA and the other one from BossMail. Obviously , i dont want the BossMail notification to be sent ... and i think this second notification must not to be generated. Any ideas ?TeKi

No way to disable; especially for internal messagesas they use mapi properties instead of SMTP headers for the requesting. The only way is to use a custom sink. Article is for 2007 for still applies.http://blogs.technet.com/appssrv/archive/2009/05/29/how-to-suppress-delivery-and-read-receipts-in-exchange-2007.aspxJames Chong (MVP)

Delivery reciepts are generated from client end. that is by design. as James said you will have to customize the sink
