I have an exchange 2003 Standard with sp2. The size of all that data files (in the mdbdata directory) is 18.8 GB. How big can my databse get before I each the limits. Is ther a way to shrink the databse and/or increase the limit. The Exchane 2003 is version 6.5.7638.1 (Sp2 October 2005). Thanks. Bilal

Maximum DB size that you can have on E2k3 SP2 Standard edition is 75GB. To increase the limit, You will have to modify the registry as mentioned in below article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912375 To shrink the Database size. And note the limit is a logical one, not physical. So, the store itself can reach a maximum of 75GB, the file on disk could be larger with white space included.
