Resource Mailbox Calendar Permissions - Changes having no effect!! Exchange/Outlook 2010
Setting up Resource Mailboxes for some training laptops. They're setup to automatically approve events, creating an event on the calendar gives an approval as expected and as expected the default permissions allow users or myself to see nothing but Busy. I've changed the permissions using the following powershell command: add-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity traininglaptop01:\calendar -User itsupport -AccessRights owner and can confirm with the following command that I have the owner permissions: Get-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity traininglaptop01:\calendar But still 10 minutes later I can't view more than the Busy entry and right clicking and selecting properties just tells me: Cannot display the folder properties. The folder may have been deleted or the server where the folder is stored may be unavailable. Cannot display folder properties. You don't have appropriate permisson to perform this operation (Which is it?) I've then given my account fullaccess via the Exchange Console, and as expected I then have this extra mailbox in Outlook 2010. But attempting to expand it tells me: Cannot expand the folder. I can confirm I do have fullaccess with the following: Get-MailboxPermission -Identity traininglaptop01 But still, can't expand the folder... What's going on?
