Ressource mailbox configuration
Hi, I have Exchange 2007 SP2 in my organization. I have configured some Room and Equipment mailbox. Then i have set the permissions to share their calendars, adjust the auto accept invitation, scheduling and also Deny conflict. The problem is that the deny works only for the room mailbox even if they are both configured the same way. Why the equipment doesn't work ? It accepts all invitations without deny even if the ressources is already reserved. can someone help on this ?

Hi, According to your output, I think I found out where the problem is. First, we should know about the main parameter which allows enabling or disabling calendar management on the resource mailbox is AutomateProcessing. The three possible values are: · None Both resource booking and Calendar Attendant will be disabled on the mailbox · AutoUpdate It is the default value. The Calendar Attendant will process meeting requests which will sit in the calendar of the room in a “tentative state” waiting a delegate approval. · AutoAccept Resource booking will be enabled on the room mailbox. This means that the room will take into account the policies for the incoming requests. And then, the value of the parameter AutomateProcessing is AutoUpdate on your equipment mailbox, the meeting organizer will receive no response from the resource unless one would have to log into the resource mailbox with an account has permissions to the resource mailbox and accept/decline it even though you deny the conflicts. So if you want to fix it, one to set the value is AutoAccept to the parameter AutoProcesing, the other is setting a delegate to the equipment mailbox. Here are some nice articles, and will do help you.
