Retrieve Exchange public calendar
Updated to Exchange 2007 from 2003 and had no clue about the public calendar that was setup in a public folder until it was too late. The old server no longer has Exchange running on it but the data is still there. Is there a fairly simple way to retrieve just the calendar information? Import to Exchange 07 or just export the data to another format so I can get the information?

Theres no equal tools like ExMerge to export data from public store. But we can use OL to drag and drop data to a PST file. If you want to export this public calendar, you need to do it by recovery your exchange server first.
PS: make sure that store is clean-shutdown before.
1) backup database files and log files to other media
{all data in MDBDATA folder. Public calender is in public store's database file}
2) create same environment as original exchange server
a) install windows server [same name], ensure that IIS has been installed
b) create domain by dcpromo [same name]
c) run forestprep, domainprep
d) install ESM tools first, to create new AG as same name
e) install ex2k3, also install same SP as existed on old exchange
f) rename SG and store to original name
g) dismount store
3) create a old user in ADUC who exists in old mailbox store. ensure not mailbox-enable the user object
4) move data back to "MDBDATA" folder and mount
5) Use ESM to locate that old user's mailbox with "Red Cross" which means not belong to any user [if not, right-click store, run "cleanup agent"]. Right-click mailbox and reconnect selected old user account
6) set up OL for old user and export public calendar to a local PST file
