Retry Time for Major Email Servers
Hello All, I have 3 Edge Servers let say their names A,B,C, 2 hosted inside organistaion and 1 externally. A and B are internal and C is external. A priority is 0, B has 10 and C has 20. When my A and B servers are down, mails automatically queue on Server C till the time one of A and B get up. That means if email coming from hotmail will first go to A then B and then C. Just want to know what is the retry interval of major email providers i.e. Yahoo, hotmail, gmail. I mean how many times they attempt OR time duration to deliver email on server A before moving to Server B and so on?

Hi,For Exchange, you can set the retry interval manually. For the third party provider, I am not familiar with them. You need to post the question on their support area.ThanksAllen
