I know lots of people have weighed on this...but I want to add my voice. I HATE that this is gone. And I don't understand why it hasn't already been put back in! If "clutter" is the answer, bring on the clutter!! I want Right Click Auto Correct clutter!!!
Please change the contents of a text entry in the AutoCorrect list. For example, in Outlook 2013, you may
- Click the File tab.
- Click Options.
- Click Proofing.
If you are using Outlook, click Mail, and then click Spelling and AutoCorrect. - Click AutoCorrect Options.
- On the AutoCorrect tab, make sure the Replace text as you type check box is selected.
- Click the entry in the list. It will appear in the Replace box.
- Type the new entry in the With box.
- Click Replace.
Please also check the setting is proper under AutoCorrect Options > Tab "Math Autocorrect"

this is not acceptable
up to 2013 one could add an autocorrect entry with a couple clicks (right then left)
now it takes about 8 clicks and typing in the incorrect and the correct entry
this is a major waste of time and effort, and a major step backwards with this important function
Microsoft, put the autocorrect function back to the way it was until Office 2013
