Role to allow individual to delete mobile phone partnership
Does anyone know if there is a role or specific permission that can be given to say a helpdesk person to allow them to just deleted mobile phone partnerships in Exchange 2010? I am trying to give a helpdesk individual the access required to deleted mobile phone partnerships without allowing them any other access to the mailbox accounts if possible. Thanks,

Hi tzinger, If you want to have the permission to delete mobile phone partnership, or Remove-ActiveSyncDevice, you should be assigned the "Recipient Management" Role Group by default. Remove-ActiveSyncDevice http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125032.aspx But if you want to your helpdesk to just delete parternship, you have to create a custom Role based on the "Mail Recipients" Role, remove any other Role Entry other than Remove-ActiveSyncDevice, then assign the custom Role to the Helpdesk person, thus the Helpdesk person can manage the parternship using EMS. Create a Role http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd351214.aspx Remove a Role Entry from a Role http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd297947.aspx Add a Role to a User or USG http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd351056.aspx Frank Wang TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
