Room Mailbox Approval Questions
In Exchange 2010, if a user is is configured to have their in-policy requests automatically approved, will the room mailbox delegate still receive an email notice of the request?
Also, I assume neither of the following two options are possibl, but maybe I'm missing something...
1. Ability to specify PER DELEGATE whether they are forwarded meeting requests.
2. Ability to set an "alternate" approver that would receive the request if the "primary" approver does not respond within X amount of time.

You are right. More than one approver can be added, but not "alternate" approver that would receive the request if the "primary" approver does not respond within X amount of time.

Thanks LMurthy. Do you happen to know the answer to question in the first part of my post... If a user is is configured to have their in-policy requests automatically approved, will the room mailbox delegate still receive an email notice of the request?
Thanks!

I did not test this, but if you have -forwardrequeststodelegates then they should receive it.

Hi,
“If a user is is configured to have their in-policy requests automatically approved,
will the room mailbox delegate still receive an email notice of the request?”
I did a test, if the user is configured to have their in-policy requests automatically approved, the delegate will not receive an email. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
