Room Mailbox and shared resources

This is all kinda new to me. With exchange 2003 it was easy to create a shared calendar for a resource. With 2k7 there is now equipment and room mailbox. I created a room mailbox, and it shows up when i send a new meeting invitation. It also addressed it to send to the room mailbox. My only question is, How do i view the room mailbox calendar to see what's available etc.

You use the scheduling assistant - when you add the resource to the meeting, there is the availability / scheduling tab, on that tab you will see the information for the relevant date / times required.

You may want to make the "room" reply back if it accepts or denies your invitation.Set-MailboxCalendarSettings <Identity> -AutomateProcessing:AutoAccept

I shared the calendar by setting a password on the room/equipment account, and enabling the account. Then set up a new profile in my Outlook, logged in as that room/equipment account and set the anonymous permission on the calendar to reviewer. Once done, disable the account again, and people can than connect to the resource calendar to view full details of events.Hope that helps.Dave KuehlingMCSE/MCSAecurity, MCSA:Messaging

in case anyone like me still finds and reads these older posts, here is an update on the cmdlet to do all rooms at once:
get-mailbox -RecipientTypeDetails roommailbox | Set-MailboxCalendarSettings -automateprocessing:autoaccept
