Room mailbox Booking delegates receive entries in their own calendar

Hi guys,

I have tried to search for a solution to this online but cannot find anything.

We have a room mailbox on our exchange 2013 server. There are 2 booking delegates that accept/deny the room request as they come in. This is working except for the fact that when either of the 2 booking delegates accept a room request it goes into their own calendar as well as the room mailboxes one.

The setup is very simple, they both have send on behalf and full access rights to the mailbox. They are the only 2 users under the booking delegates options.

It is particularly hard to troubleshoot because the setup is so simple and there is not much to change.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Seems the this thread has a fix. However the option not to forward seems to have been removed in the Exchange 2013 ECP:

Hi,
If you want Moderation to work you the resource Booking Agent must be enabled and you need to change policy settings. Compare your settings with the one specified below that is configured for moderations (all bookings must be approved/denied by delegates)

Get-CalendarProcessing RoomMailbox | FL AutomateProcessing, *policy*, ForwardRequestsToDelegates, ResourceDelegates

AutomateProcessing         : AutoAccept
RequestOutOfPolicy         : {}
AllRequestOutOfPolicy      : False
BookInPolicy               : {}
AllBookInPolicy            : False
RequestInPolicy            : {}
AllRequestInPolicy         : True
ForwardRequestsToDelegates : True
ResourceDelegates          : {domain.com/Some OU/Delegate1,domain.com/Some OU/Delegate2}

Hi Martina,

Thank you for the reply. I have run the command and I get the same results:
AutomateProcessing         : AutoAccept

RequestOutOfPolicy         : {}

AllRequestOutOfPolicy      : False

BookInPolicy               : {}

AllBookInPolicy            : False

RequestInPolicy            : {}

AllRequestInPolicy         : True

ForwardRequestsToDelegates : True

ResourceDelegates          : {uk.mydomain.com/UK Users/Leatherhead/Management/user 1, uk.mydomain.com/UK Users/Leatherhead/Management/user 2}

Lots of post are about on the net regarding this happening when you have the option to forward the request to the delegate ticked in Exchange 2010, but I cannot see this option in 2013. Not sure if I am looking in the wrong place though.
