Hi everybody I'm having the following doubt:Actually I have 5 domains @domainA.com , @domainB.com, @domainC.com , @domainD.com and @domainE.com when my user send email beetween them they are routingInternally (trought AD Site& Service Topology) , I need modify this behavior and now I want to send email trought internet.I mean, When users from domainD.com and domainE.com send emails to anothers 3 domains (A,B,C) these email will berouting tointernet.I was thinking to do the following actions to solve my situation:-remove from exchange organization on Email Accepted remove this domains(A,B,C)-generate a send conector specifying on my space address the 3 domains (A,B,C)What I need to do, to achieve my goal?JASM

Hi,If the A,B,C mail-addresses are not going to be used further in your Exchange environment you can remove them. This will remove the addresses also from the recipient policies so users will lose this e-mail address. If theA,B,C domain will be hosted on another Exchange environment which has a MXrecordregistered in the external DNS youdon't have to add a connector. If this will be an internal domain or you wish to deliver it via a VPN-tunnel or something you can create a seperate connector which has only theA,B,C domain as the address space.Regards,Johanblog: www.johanveldhuis.nl

Hi, thanks for your answer.The domains A,B,C mail address will not be used anymore , so if I remove from accepted domain I understand that this movement also remove the email policy address in reference to this domains. Then if my users try to send an email from domain D,E try to domains A,B,C them will be routed to internet?And I dont need to do something else?Regards.JASM

Yes, When we have MX records created for A,B,C domains and a send connector is created with the * as the address space and you choose route through DNS rather than choosing send through smart host in network tab.Thanks Shiv

Well, Actually I have configure a send conector with address space * , but I'm using smart host to route to internet emails, is there any problem, If I'm using Smart host?Thanks!JASM

Hi Jasm, If the smart host has the right DNS record, it will reroute the mail correctly. But it's their business rather than yours. In your side, you need to remove the recipient policy and MX record which you have done. Thanks, Elvis
