I've installed a third party COM add-in in my excel. When trying to open the add-in in excel the error Runtime error 429 ActiveX can't create object pop up and my excel hangs when I try to close it.

I've already tried the registering the .dll file regsvr32 and tried uninstall both the add-in and msoffice application after deleting the user files and restarting but to no avail.

I've also tried performing a clean boot and opened excel and the add-in but same error.

What else can I do? Is there a way for me to debug the add-in to check where the issue is coming from?

Which version of Excel do you use? Based on the error message "Run-time error '429': ActiveX component  can't create object", This error occurs when the Component Object Model(COM) cannot create the requested Automation object, and the Automation object is therefore unavailable to Visual Basic.
