SBS 2003 and Exchange 2010 mailbox moves
Hi All, I am migrating from SBS 2003 to Exchange 2010 and am able to move mailboxes without problems. However I did expect the Outlook clients to automatically update the server namkes etc so I do not have to recreate the profiles, is this correct? We use Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010. Is there a way I can make sure I do not have to recreate the Outlook profiles? Thanks Dave

Is Exchange 2010 in the same Active Directory domain as the SBS server? SBS is different, too. I recommend you consider posting to the SBS forum. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/smallbusinessserver/threadsEd Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

As far as I'm aware; if the Exchange 2010 is installed in the same domain, Outlook 20007 and Outlook 2010 should be able to work without reconfiguration. I think you would require to reconfigure Outlook 2003 profiles.Cheers
