SBS 2003 one NEW user not receiving External Email.
I have one new user that is not receiving external email here is what i have done. -Check ADSI and compared against mine -Check all settings under AD User accounts (all exchange tabs) -Checked the SMTP connector. -Checked Member of tab in AD -Checked settings on outlook. (No cached Ex mode, no rules) -Changed alias back to what it was when I created the account. -Deleted and purged mailbox and recreated it also deleted user account and recreated it. -Telnet port 25 test. Everything worked. I am reciveing no kick back messages. What it appears to be is that for this one user he exchange is not going to the third party we use to get his external emails. Everywhere I look everyone says to check spam filtering. Which we also get through this company. The guy I talked to swears the issue is on our side. I don't know what to do. some one please help me... ~Capt.Trout

You mentioned you're using a third party for spam filtering, these services typically do recipient validation and account needs to be added in the spam filter. Please check if this is the case. James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

I will try this. The guy with the third party company is very unhelpful. If anyone has any other suggestions i am open to those too. CaptTrout
