SBS 2008 Exchange Rules file
1 months ago my server with SBS 2008 died, but I was able to recover the entire content of the damaged HD with the help of a data recovery company. I’ve newly installed the server (and I have the copy of the 'crashed files' on an
external HD). There is only 1 client with Outlook 2007 which had all rules stored on it. Since I've lost all files on that PC as well (but I have an old backup.pst and outlook.ost file) I was wondering if there is a way to dig out the rules I've had either
on those .pst or .ost files or on the server. I don’t have any .rwz file.

If the rules were all "client-side" rules then there were only
"deferred action" rules stored in the mailbox on the server. The rest
were, I think, in the local profile.

Rich,
thanks for your reply. Could you tell me exactly where to look at and what files I should search (for both possibilities)?
Best regards,
Sven

No file. The profile is in the registry. If you don't have a backup of
the client machine you don't have a copy of the rules.
