SBS Exchange Upgrade
Howdy, My current setup is an SBS 2003 Standard box. The issue lies in that I need to split mailbox stores so we can journal a specific group of users to a third party for WORM Archiving. However, they charge per mailbox. SBS Doesn't allow me to add a second mailbox store, but Enterprise exchange will. We have a copy - Would it be possible to run the install for exchange enterprise as an upgrade on my SBS box? -lex

You don't technically need to install it on a separate server. It will install without any problem on the Small Business Server box. However, you should be aware that doing so will make future upgrades to Exchange Server on that same box extremely difficult, if not impossible

I'm hoping to have as little email downtime as possible. It's a fairly small office, so it's not a huge deal to switch it to another server.
