SELF account permission in Active Directory
Dear All, Due to an unknown issue which is about the SELF account permission is incorrect in some domain user accounts, I have to reset the SELF account permission. But it's quite strange that the SELF account permission will be fallback to original after around 1 hour. Would you please advise how to align all SELF account permission in Active Directory ? Regards, Tommy

But do you know why some domain user account permission is correct, but not others ? Is it something wrong with our domain account creation method for mailbox user ? We have Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007 servers in our site.

It depends, There were in previous versions of exchange many issues with the Self permission and exxternal associated accounts. The problems were so widespread and long lasting, the end result was a tool to fix things up. Search for NoMAS. J
