SMTP Connector question
Hello We are using Windows Server 2003 and Exchange 2003 SP1We have one SMTP connector in my organisation and i was wondering if the following was possible. All users user Outlook for their mail and there is no restrictions etc. We do have one server that is configured for sending bulk emails, i was wondering if i could configure the SMTP connector that is already there not to accept the emails from this server and set another one up specifically for this server and then i can set up some time restrictions as when bulk emails are sent out it saturates the internet connection Is this possible?? Thanks for your help Gareth

Yes ! Open "System Manager" > Go to > "Administrative groups" > "Your server" > Protocols > SMTP > "Right click on the SMTP virtual server" and go to properties. From there you set access control, connection control & Relay restrictions . Regards, Amey.
