SMTP Gateway
Sir I want to install a server to be an SMTP gateway, I will tell you about the current setup of my network , I have an exchange server (exchange.dms.local), we are using relay service to send mails so we have multiple SMTP connectors to forward mails for example (Connector 1 to forward mails to the to the smart host IP (X.X.X.X )f the address space is ADL.com))another connector to forward mails to (Z.Z.Z.Z) if the address space is MDL.com, and another connector to forward mail to the Address (Y.Y.Y.Y) if the address space is (*) etc. Now I want to install a SMTP gateway server and forward all the mail to it ,and configure the gateway to pass the messages outside ,so how I can deal with this ,how I configure the Gateway to deal with multiple connector .how I must configure the SMTP virtual server ,or I need multiple SMTP virtual server Thanks you

what is going to be your new smtp gateway? is it a scanning appliance or software? another exchange box? all of your connectors will try to make contact with the ip's defined on them, and they wont try to relay through your new gateway unless reconfigured. another option would be to have something on your default gateway (or one of the router hops) that scans (or whatever you plan to do) with out changing the destination header. this would also allow you to keep your existing connector config.

I think the easiest way would be to create single SMTP connector with Forward all mail through this connector to the following smart hosts: [your SMTP Gateway] with address space * All other connectors are not required anymore.
