SMTP Relay for Exchange 2007
When I receive mail from my Powerware UPS through and SMTP relay it does not dispay the name properly in the send To: section when sending to a user with a Exchange 2007 address. It display properly when received by an Exchange 2003 user but for a Exchange 2007 user. The UPS e-mails a distribution group. The message is received fine, but in the display it is incorrect. UPS is the name of the distribution group Under Display name it says ups@, under email address it says domainname.comups@domainname.com, and under Internet format it says Let Outlook decide the best sending format.

Look in the Internet message headers of the message and see how the display name is configured. I suspect that the device is coding the address incorrectly in a way that Exchange 2003 didn't care about but Exchange 2007 does. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." . This is regarding the senders information. The issue is the recipient information espicially the display name. Does anyone have the format for the display name format for the header for Exchange 2007.

Hi James, Sure, but, in my opinion, those all related with the resolvep2 issue. You could refer to below link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee428173(EXCHG.80).aspx http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/12/28/432013.aspx And then make test. Regards! gavin
