SMTP in Email Adresses
We are are setting upa new SBS 2008 Server. The internal domain name is domain.local When we setup the user accounts the email address appears as username@domain.local. Do we modify this in the SMTP settings or do we add another entry such as username@domain.com Your reply is appreciated. Regards, Guido

You need to run the wizards in the SBS Management Console. Those will configure the server correctly for you, including setting the correct domain for external access. With SBS it is a little more than just settings things manually in Exchange, you should use the wizards. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources
