What do I need to do to reinstall SMTP Virtural Server for my Exchange 2003 sp2 server. I recently uninstall / reinstalled the smtp component. Is there an easy way of resolving this issue?

I think that you are going to have to re-install Exchange 2003 and then re-apply the E2K3 SP2 service pack. That will be the simplest way to get all of the Exchange extensions re-installed and re-registered.
