Ok just took over this 2003 SBM server with exchange 2003 on it,they have been having problems for about three weeks. They had a open relay and I have shut it down, however not being a exchange person, I not sure if this is truely over, I seem to have unwanted emails in the smtp queue and they seem to be growing, so I have more to do, this morning the smtp queue had grown to ex-large size again and the server is once again running slow.
