SSL certificates to be installed
Hi all, I am currently in the process of transitioning from Exchange2003 to Exchange2010. I have found the process pretty smooth. MS is mentioned that in this version all communication has been SSL secured between servers & clients. I have 2 Exchange2010 servers first one running CAS,HubTransport etc, the second server is dedicated as a mailbox server. I have Installed a 3rd party SSL certificate on the CAS server, do I need to install a SSL public certificate on the mailbox server as well Right now it works fine without it, need to know is this would create a problem in communication at a later time. Expert advice will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Clients don't talk to the mailbox role server in Exchange 2010 so you won't need a certificate on that for client access. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .
